Recent Particulars Come to Light About the Finding of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Bodies

New information has come to light regarding the shocking deaths of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Los Angeles home home on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account referencing a person close to the family, a practitioner scheduled for an session initially became concerned after being unable to gain access the house. The practitioner then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides close by.

When she went into the house, Romy found her father's body. It is said she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. Her roommate who had accompanied her then dialed 911. Subsequently, paramedics found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Charges

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, including the alleged use of a deadly weapon, said to be a knife. He is presently being held and denied bail.

Correcting the Record

The confidential informant challenged several earlier details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick resided in a guesthouse on the estate, she did not point to him as a person of interest at that moment.

Furthermore disputed widely reported notions that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been especially "concerned" about Nick's conduct in the preceding period. Rather the family was "used to working through [Nick's] problems together."

This refutation includes reports of alleged "unstable" behavior by Nick at a event hosted by Conan O'Brien the evening prior to the discovery. Although the source stated they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "scolded" his son at the party, they maintained that suggestions of a "major confrontation" between the two were inaccurate.

Investigation Timeline

According to law enforcement officials, the medical examiner had not yet established as of Tuesday whether the Reiners died late on Saturday or on Sunday. Preliminary accounts indicated the state of their bodies pointed to they had been dead for some hours.

Nick Reiner was apprehended at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park area, about 15 miles from the scene. He was due to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his attorney, Alan Jackson, said his client had not received medical clearance and would be unable to attend until Wednesday at the earliest.
